Description
Right (Passenger) lower door patch panel for Ferrari 308gtb/gts. Made from 20 gauge (0.036″) thick steel. The panel spans from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the channel that runs the length of the body. It is 8.73″ tall. Although most damage is limited to the first few inches of the bottom of the door, the extra height will allow for a more efficient installation. The channel will offer more strength and resistance to warping during the welding process. The extra height also facilitates blending the panel into the existing skin. The panels can also be cut down to suit individual needs. In other words, extra material provides options for the installer. The front, rear, and bottom edges of the panel include a 1/2″ lip bent to a 90 degree angle which can be folded over once the skin has been fitted to the door frame.
This panel ships with a protective coating of mineral oil to prevent flash rusting.
